I’ve been following the Graphene market since 2015. In the decade following graphene hasn’t come to market as quickly as many had hoped for, the use of graphene enhanced cement and concrete is a good example, lots of critical testing remains to be done before it becomes a mainstream product. Then the question of recycling and safety has to be fully addressed, I remember reading at one point that graphene would be the new plastic in terms of impact, and look where plastic reuse and recycling is today. Graphene is still set to make a huge impact but you can say it’s still in the research, testing and beginning application stage.
In the meantime another exciting technical topic is just getting into the application stage, that’s space launch in Canada. Canada are far behind many developed countries in this area but the next couple of years will see some firsts as Spaceports begin to take shape and rocket launches are being scheduled. I’ve started writing about those topics as well and launched techcanadanews.ca which for the time being redirects to nanographene.org
I’m a retired Technical Writer, in my 70s now, but I like keep track of interesting technical advancements. If your team needs some direction in documentation, feel free to contact me, I’m always looking for projects to get involved in on a part time basis. My contact email is editor@nanographene.org
